Contact EOR Belgium: what should we price for you?

Belgian employment questions are rarely generic. The answer may turn on which joint committee covers the role, whether the salary sits above the €4,000 point where the 2026 indexation cap starts, or whether a non-EU candidate meets the regional single-permit threshold, such as €53,220 a year in Wallonia. Send us the details and we reply with figures for your case.

Why do companies hire in Belgium through us?

You need no SRL in Belgium. We sign the employment contract, file the Dimona and declare pay to the ONSS, while recruiting and the choice of candidate stay with you.

One hire or a handful

For one hire or a handful, an SRL brings notary fees, a financial plan, annual accounts and a social secretariat. With us, adding a second or third person means one more contract on our payroll and no company to run.

Fee and salary costs

Salary, employer ONSS of 25.00% (2026), sector contributions and insurance are invoiced at cost. Our fee is a separate line, from €599 per employee per month. Take a €4,500 monthly salary in Brussels: the employer’s full-year cost before that fee comes to about €78,400, including a 13th month and the 92% double holiday pay.

Belgian rules handled

Belgian payroll has moving parts we deal with every month: joint-committee scales, automatic indexation (2.21% under PC 200 in January 2026), the cap on indexation above €4,000 since June 2026, double holiday pay without employer ONSS, replacement days for public holidays that fall on a weekend, and the eight-week relapse rule for guaranteed salary.

Sample questions

Typical questions: how often can a fixed-term contract be renewed (four times, at least three months each, two years in all)? What notice applies after 18 months (10 weeks)? Is a non-compete valid at €44,447 a year (no)? What home-office allowance is tax-free (€164.21 a month)?

A coordinator who stays

Your questions go to one coordinator who has worked on your payroll since the first hire. When the January index or a new hire changes the invoice, that person explains it.

Your employee’s case

Each employee’s situation changes the numbers. A home-based role needs a telework agreement and may qualify for the €164.21 monthly allowance. An inbound hire earning at least €70,000 may use the special tax regime, with a 35% tax-free allowance. Someone from outside the EU needs a single permit, and the salary threshold differs between Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.

How the work runs once you sign

  • A written quote with salary, 13th month, holiday pay, ONSS and our fee
  • Contract and work regulations prepared for signature
  • Each month’s payroll signed off by you in the portal
  • Leaver documents prepared when needed

Who handles HR queries for Belgian staff?

Software can store a sick note. It cannot tell you that the certificate must arrive within two working days, failing another deadline in the work regulations, or which notice applies to a contract signed in July 2026 rather than August. We answer those for Belgium.

You deal with a small team: a client manager for the account, a payroll coordinator for each run and an HR lead for contracts and leavers.

  • Answers grounded in Belgian law and CCTs
  • Same people on your account month after month
