Buyer’s guide, 2026

How to choose the
Best EOR Provider in Belgium

To find the best EOR provider in Belgium, run a few local tests. Ask how a provider finds the joint committee (PC) for your role, because that decides the minimum salary, the 13th month and the weekly hours. Ask who files the Dimona before day one and the quarterly DmfA with the ONSS. Ask how the 2026 cap on indexation above €4,000 a month will reach your payroll. A provider that answers in writing, with dates and figures, knows Belgian payroll.

Your coordinator

A person who knows your file.

When an employee calls in sick on a payroll cut-off day, or asks why they were dismissed, you speak to the coordinator who set up their contract. They already know the joint committee, the salary and the history.

Ask providers

What should you ask an EOR before signing?

Bring these eight questions to a sales call; strong answers cite Belgian rules, dates, forms.

Compliance ownership

Who signs the contract, files the Dimona and answers to the ONSS if a declaration is late or wrong?

Payroll accuracy

How will you apply the January indexation and the 2026 cap above €4,000 a month, and will the year-end bonus and the 92% holiday pay land on the right payslips?

Employer risk

If a dismissed employee asks for reasons under CCT no. 109, who writes the registered letter within two months?

Data and records

Where are payslips, individual accounts and 281.10 forms kept, and can I download them when an inspector asks?

Sector rules

Which joint committee covers this role, what is its minimum scale, and does it add sector bonuses, eco-vouchers or a shorter week?

Time to a first day

How many days do you need between a signed offer and the Dimona, and how do you plan around a single permit?

Predictable cost

Will the quote show twelve months of salary, the 13th month, double holiday pay, employer ONSS and your fee, in euros?

Documentation

Do you issue the work regulations, a telework agreement under CCT no. 85 and, when someone leaves, the C4?

Figures were read on 4 October 2026 from each provider’s own pricing page: published EOR prices per employee per month, before any discount or add-on. We bill in euros. The European Central Bank rate on 2 October 2026 was 1 EUR = 1.1225 USD, so €599 is $672.38. Papaya Global charges €650 in European countries, about $729.63. Native Teams and RemoFirst publish worldwide starting prices that can rise by country. Put plainly, Remote, Oyster and Papaya Global cost more than us; Deel, RemoFirst and Native Teams start lower.

What changed for Belgian employers?

The minimum monthly wage (RMMMG) rose to €2,189.81 in April and €2,233.61 from 1 July, after the pivot index was exceeded. The Programme Law of 30 May 2026 capped indexation on salary above €4,000 a month from 1 June and limited dismissal notice to 52 weeks for contracts started from that date. For contracts from 1 August, the first six months carry one week’s notice. Since January, guaranteed salary no longer restarts for an illness that recurs within eight weeks, and an April circular confirmed the inbound taxpayer regime at 35% from €70,000.

Buyer FAQ

What do buyers want to know?

Whose payroll is my new hire on?+
EOR Belgium is. Your hire signs a Belgian employment contract with us, and we then handle payroll, the ONSS returns and précompte professionnel. You pick the person, define the job and agree the salary; we hold the contract and its filings.
How is a Belgian payslip calculated?+
Gross pay starts from the joint-committee scale and the agreed salary. Employee ONSS of 13.07% comes off first, then précompte professionnel as an advance on income tax, then the special social security contribution. You approve each run in the portal before payment, and the employee receives a payslip showing every line.
Pension cover?+
The statutory pension comes through ONSS. Within the 25.00% employer rate for 2026, 8.86% of gross pay goes to the pension branch, and the employee pays 7.50% within 13.07%. A supplementary scheme such as group insurance is not part of those figures; if you choose to offer one, we quote its cost separately.
What if a dismissed employee challenges the dismissal?+
From six months’ seniority, CCT no. 109 lets the employee ask for the reasons by registered letter. The employer must reply within two months or pay a fine of two weeks’ wages, and a dismissal found manifestly unreasonable costs 3 to 17 weeks’ pay. Claims go to the labour court. We set out the reasons and the cost of each option first.
How does automatic indexation work?+
Indexation is automatic and runs through the joint committee: PC 200 salaries went up 2.21% at the start of 2026. The Programme Law of 30 May 2026 then capped it for full-time pay above €4,000 a month, and PC 200 feels that cap first in January 2027. Each change reaches payroll and your invoice.
Is the fee a flat amount?+
Yes, per person: from €599 per employee per month, a line on the euro invoice beside salary and contributions. It is not a percentage of pay, so a rise or an indexation step leaves it unchanged.
Can the job terms change later?+
Yes, with the employee’s agreement, recorded in writing. A move to part-time must be in writing, regular home working needs a telework agreement under CCT no. 85, and a non-compete only has effect in writing and above €44,447 a year in 2026; between that and €88,895 it also needs a collective agreement listing the function.
Who answers when a problem comes up?+
Your named payroll coordinator, by email or through the portal. That person set up the contract, checks every run and knows the joint committee, so a sick note, a payslip query or a resignation is dealt with by someone who already has the file.
